How We Support Our Community
As a family-owned business, Garrett’s IGA Supermarket has served Rio Rico since 1986. We’re proud to be the local grocery store for our neighbors in Rio Rico, Tubac, Tumacácori, Nogales and Patagonia, a business that has grown up alongside this community for nearly 40 years. From the day Ray Garrett opened the store, Garrett’s has bought produce directly from local growers and southeastern Arizona farmers. Today we still stock local products alongside a large selection of Mexican specialty foods that reflect the border community we serve.
A Family Business, Three Generations Deep
Ray Garrett ran the store with his wife, Pam, and their sons, Michael and Jeff, and his father, Ray Garrett Sr., joined the business too. Michael Garrett runs it today, and our team serves customers in both English and Spanish.
Together, we make Rio Rico a better place to live, work, and shop.
