Keil’s Fresh Food Store is open every day, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, year-round.
We’re at 7403 Jackson Drive, San Diego, California 92119, in the San Carlos neighborhood. Call us at (619) 667-2750. There’s a free parking lot and free street parking.
Keil’s has served the San Carlos and Del Cerro area of San Diego for over 30 years.
Yes. We’re open regular hours, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, every day of the year, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Keil’s is family-owned by Rick Keil, the third generation of the Keil family in the grocery business. Brian Haire is our General Manager.
Rick Keil brought Keil’s to San Diego in July 1990. The Keil family has been in the grocery business since Farrel Keil opened his first store in Vancouver, Washington, in the early 1900s.
Yes. Keil’s has a full hot food program, plus custom sandwiches, Keil’s Signature Sandwiches, paninis and a salad bar. Stop in for dinner tonight; it’s already prepared for you.
Our deli and hot foods are available 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and our bakery is open 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, every day. The rest of the store is open until 10:00 PM.
Yes. Keil’s has a full-service meat department with trained butchers on staff to cut your specific request.
Yes. Keil’s carries Certified Angus Beef® brand beef and USDA Choice beef, plus marinated meats like Keil’s Signature Beef Fajitas and more chicken parts and pieces than most stores offer, all at competitive prices.
Yes. Ask our meat cutters for the cut you want and they’ll cut it for you.
Yes. Keil’s has an extensive seafood department with fresh California-coast seafood, fresh fish and shrimp, and a large selection of smoked salmon, with trained staff to help.
Yes. Our bakery has fresh-baked goods daily, open 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and takes special orders for custom cakes and cupcakes.
Yes. Keil’s has a floral department.
Yes. We carry beer, wine and spirits. You must be 21 or older with a valid ID to buy alcohol.
Yes. Keil’s has a huge selection of gluten-free products, one of the largest in the San Carlos and Del Cerro area.

Our deli makes custom sandwiches with turkey, roast beef, corned beef, rotisserie chicken, Black Forest ham or hot pastrami, plus Italian heroes, Italian subs and paninis. Keil’s Signature Sandwiches include chicken salad, homemade tuna, the Famous Club, crispy BLT, smoked salmon, egg salad, Veggie Lovers, Reuben and pulled pork.
