Our Community
Proudly Serving Ajo, Arizona Since 1992
From donating paint for the Ajo High School parade floats to providing scholarship raffle prizes through our ACE Hardware department, Olsens Marketplace is proud to give back to the community that's supported us for decades. Our grocery department donates Anaheim chilies and a roaster to local organizations for fundraising events, and our old-fashioned community bulletin board is open for customers to post their own event flyers and announcements. We're also a proud supporter of the Cruise to Ajo event. We're honored to serve not just Ajo, but the wider region — including Gila Bend, Why, Lukeville, Sells, the Tohono O'odham Nation, and our neighbors across the border in Sonoyta and Puerto Peñasco, Mexico.

How We Support Our Community in Ajo
Olsens Marketplace IGA has been part of Ajo since 1992. As the only full-service grocery and ACE Hardware store on a rural 40-mile stretch of Arizona desert highway, we are proud to give back to the community that has supported us for decades.
Ajo High School Parade Floats
Our ACE Hardware department donates paint and supplies to Ajo High School classes building their Homecoming and Fourth of July parade floats.
Scholarship Raffle Prizes
We donate ACE Hardware products as prizes for local scholarship raffles.
Chile Roasting for Local Fundraisers
Our grocery department provides Anaheim chiles and a roaster to Ajo organizations for their fundraising events.
Cruise to Ajo
We are a proud supporter of the Cruise to Ajo event.
Community Bulletin Board
Our old-fashioned community bulletin board is open for customers to post event flyers and announcements.
Serving the Region
We serve Ajo, Why, Gila Bend, Lukeville, Sells and the Tohono O’odham Nation, plus our neighbors across the border in Sonoyta and Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. When area power goes out during monsoon season, our generator backup keeps the store open for the community.
