Tonto Basin Market is open every day of the week, 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, including Saturdays and Sundays. Our deli, café, meat department and ACE Hardware are open during all store hours.

Thanksgiving Day: 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Christmas Day: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. New Year’s Day: regular hours, 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Call (928) 479-2000 to confirm hours on any other holiday.

We are at 45994 N. AZ Highway 188, Tonto Basin, AZ 85553, right on State Route 188 near Roosevelt Lake in Gila County, Arizona.

We serve Tonto Basin, Roosevelt and the Payson area, plus the campers, anglers, boaters and hunters who visit Roosevelt Lake and the Tonto National Forest.

Yes. Tonto Basin Market (also known as Tonto Basin Market IGA) is an independently owned store that has been a member of IGA, the Independent Grocers Alliance, since 2012.

Tonto Basin Market is family-owned by Marvin Klinker and Reese Klinker. The store opened in 2006 and joined IGA in 2012. Shelley Allison is our store manager.

Yes. ACE Hardware takes up more than half of Tonto Basin Market, with paint, plumbing, electrical, nuts and bolts, hardware and Craftsman tools, including lawn care equipment like blowers, trimmers and weed eaters. ACE is open during all store hours, 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and an ACE associate is usually on hand from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Yes. Our Marathon fuel pumps are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Pay at the pump with a debit or credit card anytime, or pay inside during store hours, 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We have tire air too.

Yes. We sell 24-hour Tonto Passes for parking and day use at Roosevelt Lake and other Tonto National Forest sites.

Yes. We carry fishing tackle and bait, including worms, mealworms, sardines and chicken liver, plus hunting supplies, ammo, ice, drinks and snacks for the day.

Yes. We carry firewood, charcoal, disposable grills, air mattresses, canopies, ponchos, hand warmers and more, so you can pick up everything for a lake weekend in one stop.

Yes. We carry oil, paddles, external gas tanks and fittings, fire extinguishers and anchors, plus hitch balls and receivers and tow-behind tubes.

Yes. We sell tow-behind tubes, snorkels and kids’ beach toys for a day at Roosevelt Lake.

Yes. Our own Tonto Basin Market spices are made for us by Nutmeg Spice Co. We carry about 50 to 75 spices and seasonings, from salt and pepper to BBQ rubs.

Yes. All of our meat is cut fresh on-site, and a butcher is on duty every day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We also make our own homemade sausage and offer market-cut cheese horns.

Yes. Our deli features Boar’s Head meats and cheeses sliced to order, plus sandwiches made in house, including Italian subs, turkey and ham and cheese. The deli is open daily, 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Yes. Our in-store café serves burgers, fries, sandwiches, salads and daily specials, with indoor seating.

Yes. We carry beer, wine and liquor. You must be 21 or older with a valid ID to purchase alcohol.

Yes. Tonto Basin Market accepts EBT and SNAP.

Buck for Buck is our produce program for EBT/SNAP shoppers. When you use EBT/SNAP on produce, we match your purchase dollar for dollar, so you bring home more fresh fruits and vegetables.

No. Tonto Basin Market does not currently accept WIC.

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, EBT/SNAP, Apple Pay, Google Pay and contactless payments. We do not accept checks.

Yes. There is an ATM on premises.

Yes. You can order groceries, deli and café items online for pickup at the store. We do not currently offer delivery.

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in the store.

Yes. We have single-occupancy public restrooms, including a wheelchair-accessible restroom.

Yes. We have an accessible entrance, accessible parking, an accessible restroom and café seating, and an electric shopping cart for customers who need it.

Yes. Our free parking lot has accessible spaces and room for RVs and semi-trucks.

Only service animals are allowed inside Tonto Basin Market.

Yes. We sell Arizona Lottery tickets, gift cards and prepaid phone cards.

Along with a full grocery selection, we carry our own Tonto Basin Market spices from Nutmeg Spice Co., IGA private-label products, local products, pet supplies, household and cleaning supplies, kitchen goods, personal care items, clothing and tobacco.

Yes. Members of our team are fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).

Returns are accepted within 7 days with a receipt. Perishable items, batteries and used items cannot be returned.
