About Tonto Basin Market

Tonto Basin Market is a family-owned IGA grocery store at 45994 N. AZ Highway 188 in Tonto Basin, Arizona. Since 2006, we have been the place where neighbors from Tonto Basin, Roosevelt and the Payson area, along with the visitors who come for Roosevelt Lake, stock up on groceries, fresh-cut meat, hardware, fuel and lake supplies in a single stop.

Owned by the Klinker Family

Tonto Basin Market is owned by Marvin Klinker and Reese Klinker, and our store manager, Shelley Allison, leads the team day to day. Tonto Basin Market opened in 2006 and joined IGA in 2012. As an independently owned IGA store, we stock what a rural lake community actually needs, and we know many of our customers by name.

We’re open daily from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Through our Buck for Buck program, EBT/SNAP produce purchases are matched dollar for dollar. Our team includes staff fluent in American Sign Language, and our store offers an accessible entrance, restroom and café seating, plus an electric shopping cart.
